What is Circa?
Circa is an iOS app that turns a short brief (city, vibe, who it's for) into a date plan. It suggests stops, paces them across the evening, and gives a backup if the night needs to pivot.
Is Circa a dating app?
No. There is no public profile, no swiping, no matching. Circa is for people who have already met someone and want help planning the evening.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use Circa as a guest. If you sign in with Apple, the app remembers you across launches; signing in does not unlock additional features today.
How are plans generated?
We forward your brief to a language model (Anthropic) together with our planning instructions. The model returns a structured plan, our backend validates it against a strict schema, and the plan is sent to your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full data flow.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Local data (current plan, saved plans, taste profile) can be cleared from Profile, then Privacy in the app. For server-side data such as a Premium-waitlist email, use the steps on the Delete Data page.
Is Premium available?
Not yet. The Premium screen is a waitlist. Submitting an email tells us you'd like to know when Premium becomes available; it is not a purchase or a subscription.
